A well-known element in modern architecture and Brazilian homes, the cobogó was created by the Portuguese Amadeu Oliveira Coimbra, the German Ernesto August Boeckmann and the Brazilian Antônio de Góis. Note that the initials of each of their last names inspired the creation of the name of this hollow element that decorates and, at the same time, brings poetry to spaces. This is because, by filtering natural light, the cobogós draw distinct shapes on the floors and walls, depending on the time of day and the position of the sun. Since 1920, when it was created in Recife by the aforementioned architects, until now, the item has been used creatively (and very functionally, of course) in the most diverse projects. At CASACOR Rio Grande do Sul 2017 , for example, it appears in the interiors of some spaces, subtly saying what it came for and lending all its Brazilianness with a lot of flair. Check it out below!
