On The Road style represented by the behavioral trend observed by the trio, in which people have the desire to connect the inside and the outside, bringing
outdoor elements into the home, like nature.
The new nomads are people who live in big cities, travel a lot for work and often spend more time away from home than in it. For this new way of living, professionals have created a home with flexible spaces, where they can cook, entertain, relax and work are activities that overlap and can take place in different spaces. “We chose furniture that can be moved at any time,” says architect Maurício Arruda. The house is also a space for reconnecting with oneself and the planet, hence the presence of an automated vegetable garden and an open-air bathroom. A single space that functions as a kitchen, living room, bedroom and dining room: this is it. environment designed for young nomads.
The professionals used objects representing a less traditional and more alternative universe and various cultures to compose the spirit of this apartment. The color palette follows the simple line of the décor with a vivid orange and a very greenish blue. The project sought to stimulate the senses of the visitor, mainly abusing textures and weaves in the fabrics.
Sustainability could not be left out and is present both in the reuse of old furniture and in the choice of materials. Classic and contemporary meet in the furniture and works of art with pieces by Sérgio Rodrigues and Guilherme Wentz or paintings by Genaro de Carvalho. and Speto.
