CASACOR SP 2017: An annex to welcome family and friends

With 218 m², Denise Barretto created a completely dismountable metal structure annex for CASACOR São Paulo 2017. The Guest Space was inspired by the elements of nature, printed on earth, stone and wood. The space houses a living room with fireplace, gourmet kitchen and a beautiful garden, which promotes relaxation and relaxation, perfect for gathering friends and family.

“The result is a mixture of caramels, tiles, sands, grays, blacks and greens of vegetation. This palette was intentionally selected in order to enhance the various works of art to the maximum”, says Denise. She chose sculptures by Luis Hermano and Florian Raiss (Galeria Lume), photos by Araquém Alcântara, Zoe Zapot and Luciano Candisani (Galeria of Babel) and canvas by Mariannita Luzzati (Marcelo Guarnieri Gallery).

With a modernist concept, the annex has an "L" shape and huge windows, which reveal the interior spaces. Wood is used throughout the project, both in the living room wall panels and in the solid planks of raw pequiá (Tora Brasil) in the gourmet area. . The star of the space is a 12 m² rug, hung vertically, which was produced exclusively for the exhibition and inserted as a decorative item to promote acoustic comfort and cover the double height ceiling.
