When exploring a project that combined living, entertaining and working, Marlon Gama created a 40
m2 space, inspired by the Bossa Nova movement, however, without being tied to a specific era like the 60s, when this musical style emerged, but influenced by timeless, clean, elegant and unpretentious work.
The
Bossa Studio at
CASACOR São Paulo 2017 mixes tones and textures, bringing elegance and sophistication. Classic fabrics, such as velvet, and casual fabrics, such as linen, cover the furniture in unlikely combinations of greens, concrete, earthy tones, yellows, eggplant and black. The interior space is divided by a sophisticated foosball table.
The green lacquered woodwork and gold hardware convey all the modernity and Italian inspiration in the form of panels and fitting profiles. The variable proportions of the furniture as well as their shapes, super straight and masculine or delicately feminine, mean that the studio can be used by anyone, regardless of gender or age.
The lighting, which is always punctual and directional, was produced using ultra-modern recessed profiles. The decorative lights, used in curious ways, such as the clamp that holds books on the shelf, were carefully chosen and are in perfect harmony with the other golden hardware present in the carpentry and furniture.
