CASACOR SP: Minimalism and oriental touches at Casa Niwa

With approximately 185 m², Casa Niwa , by Yamagata Arquitetura, exudes contemporary style and features functional and elegant architecture. Fully integrated into the garden, designed in partnership with landscaper Alex Hanazaki, the project features a minimalist, affectionate concept with oriental touches. Focused on living in harmony with nature, under the shade of magnolias and bamboo, the house is flooded with natural light, which creates a warm, comfortable atmosphere and guarantees a feeling of well-being.

The carpentry includes a delicate and functional bookcase that runs along the main wall of the living room, creating a sense of movement through niches with hinged doors that look like origami. On the other side, a slatted garden panel made with carbonized wood, a traditional Japanese technique. (Shou Sugi Ban) gives personality to the space and reinforces the volume of the slats on the façade.

With fluid and minimalist architecture, Casa Niwa exudes oriental features, which are recurrent in the office's work. Composed of a mix of national and international furniture, vintage decorative objects, popular and indigenous art, as well as contemporary works, resulting in a space full of personality.
