A house that can be in the countryside, in the city or on the beach. This is the proposal of Olegário de Sá and Gil Cioni, who designed
Casa da Mata at
CASACOR São Paulo 2017. The 200
m2 space combines a living room, a dining ... dining room with fireplace, gourmet kitchen, bedroom, garden and bathroom.
The duo opted for modern and contemporary lines to compose the concept of the house, which is based on the integration of man with nature. And not only with the external and internal forest, but also with the connection of human beings with sustainability, the use conscious of materials, as they are applied in space. [abril-olho]"We imagined a house that could be in the countryside, city or beach, designed for those who especially want to live in contact with nature, contemplating it, relaxing, enjoying delicious moments", declared the professionals .[/april-eye] Nature is also present through terrariums and indoor gardens – inside the bathroom, in the bathtub and in the kitchen. The coverings are also highlights in the project, such as the large sandstone walls. There is also a part of the living and dining room that was covered with reclaimed wood carpentry designed by the office. These are wooden panels laid in different directions forming a panel and making this wall a work of art.
The highlight is the large, free-standing glass box, which does not touch the ceiling and defines the three spaces (bedroom, kitchen and living room). This box divides the spaces, but at the same time, does not interrupt their integration. It also receives the
work of Armarinhos Teixeira, a large tray, made of tire fiber. Anyone who enters the house is surprised by
Gigi Monteiro's work. The photographer created a photo of a tree especially for the exhibition, which was printed on 17 aluminum plates (metal print), bringing nature into the environment. The execution of the work was carried out by Visual Print Art. Take a virtual tour of the space below:
