In addition to the feeling of spaciousness, applying the same material to the floor and wall can also be a good solution for those who want to obtain a more harmonious space with a clear idea of continuity. But, in addition to technical issues, the suggestion also adds more coziness, if the chosen covering is wood, for example, and opens up a range of daring options, such as filling the wall halfway or expanding the idea to the ceiling. In the latter case, a good suggestion is to opt for continuity through the same paint color. "I like this option because it brings the feeling of continuity. Furthermore, it is as if the plans folded, generating more interesting perspectives for the environment", explains architect Paula Neder. "There is also a subtle perception of coziness: as if the material enveloped us", he concludes. However, it is necessary to pay attention to the harmony of the surroundings, especially when the choice is for stronger colors.
