Without being tied to trends and reflecting on the theme that guides
CASACOR this year, Toninho Noronha, in a creative partnership with architect Renato Andrade, designs a space for the São Paulo show designed for family unity. “I don’t like to follow trends because they they stifle creativity and make the environment temporary. But of course they end up guiding the project in one way or another, and there is no problem with this, as long as it happens naturally, not forced, because 'living' should be pleasant and light. ”, reports the professional.
The
CASACOR São Paulo 2017 Dining Room answers the question "What is essential in a space like this?". And of course, in this place, the answer is the table. It is there to unite and gather family members in its surroundings, since in recent years residents have been retreating to their private rooms, causing individualism in the home. It is the role of the dining room to rescue this unity.
The professional did not stick to a specific concept, but based himself on simplicity, comfort and lightness to set the tone of the project. As mentioned above, the star of the space is the table, model “Traves”, launched by Clami. With graphite gray micro texture finish, composed of two separate pieces that when joined together form a larger one. The chairs that complete it are in the Art Deco style and are from the architect himself, who uses them in his dining room. “I wanted something different and couldn’t find anything that caught my attention. So I decided to share my own chairs, taking advantage of the fact that being Art Deco, the same architectural style as the Jockey Club”.
Duratex wood panels permeate the entire environment, promoting warmth and comfort, and are given irreverent touches of blue, in the works of art, curtains and chairs.
