For her debut at CASACOR São Paulo , Lídia Maciel opted for light and soft materials, warmed by the richness of textures. The Royal Anteroom is "a place of leisure and rest for those who love art and prioritize objects with personality", explains the professional.

Lídia sought a strong element to be the starting point for the project. The chosen piece was a 19th century chandelier that belonged to the Royal Family of D. Pedro II. The 40 m2 room reflects the personality of the object, telling a little about the history of the Brazilian monarchy.

“The carpentry is another strong element of the project, which sought to explore the machining of the white lacquered panels with curved lines in some points, bringing fluidity to the room,” says the architect. The walls also feature golden bas-relief lines that transform into the skirting board. , changing the woodwork into an even more special element. Full of stories, the environment is an invitation to well-being and features works of art by contemporary exponents, such as sculptor Bez Batti and visual artist Siron Franco, rigorously selected by curator Cezar Prestes. On the floor, reinforcing the coziness, Tauari parquet has a fish scale pattern to create movement.

The professional wanted to transform the traditional living room into a cozy space for socializing, entertaining or simply reading a book. With the palette of neutral and light tones, the purple velvet sofa attracts the eye and adds sophistication to the space. In contrast to the upholstered, there is the Neolith coffee table, designed with a cantilevered section. Next to the Bell Table side table, created with glass and metal, is the white Pop Up column lamp and the polyester table, which displays the vase with yellow golden shower.

Other pieces tie the decor together and bring functionality to the room, such as the compact bookcase made of delicate wooden panels to hold books, a coffee maker and a cigar box. In the other corner, the acrylic sideboard with a leather tray serves as a bar.
