Wood is always a versatile material in décor. Whether on the ceiling, floor, wall, or furniture, it always looks great, as well as lending warmth and style to the space. At
CASACOR São Paulo 2017 , this element reigned supreme and creatively adorned countless spaces designed by architects and decorators. Check out some of them below:
Alex Hanazaki - Deca Garden The 1,000 m² space is marked by an unusual sensory labyrinth with high aesthetic rigor. The slatted ceiling that covers the marquee is one of the highlights of the project, which combines Hanover oak (Duratex), from the Design line, with the Black pattern, from the brand's Trama line, to achieve the result that has been a success at the show. Barbara Jalles - Interactive Living At the
Interactive Living Room , visitors to the exhibition will be able to see the harmony between classic and contemporary in the new Chamonix pattern, from the Unique line, which sought inspiration in one of the most widely used designs in Europe since the 16th century, and which gained even more strength in the Victorian era, when it became one of the most charming and popular options among zigzag flooring. In addition to the flooring (launched by Duratex in 2017), Bárbara also used Riviera panels from the Cross line to compose the space.
Marton Studio - CASACOR Store The store, created with a focus on the retail experience, was inspired by museum and pop-up stores around the world. The designer used the Riviera panel, together with the Atacama vinyl flooring, from the Idea line, by Duratex, to create the effect seen in its environment.
Breath - Café do Saber The project emerged during the
CASACOR Archathon São Paulo marathon.
The young people used the Itapuã pattern, combined with Branco Diamante, from the Trama line. On the floor, the highlight was the use of the Boston pattern, a new addition to the City vinyl line, and Durafloor skirting boards from the Maxx line. Très Architecture - Studio The 40 m²
studio serves as a home office and uses natural materials, such as wood and brick, to create a cozy atmosphere, filled with Brazilian furniture. The office
chose the Carvalho Malva pattern, from the Duratex Design line, to cover the space and to create the bookshelf that occupies part of the space's wall. Yara Cianci and Pat Varago - Chef's House The 130 m² project is based on functionality and practicality, with an emphasis on ergonomics applied to meet the needs of the entire family and all ages. The space features cabinets made in the Arctic White pattern, from the Trama line, by Duratex. The Black pattern, also from the Trama line, used on the back of the furniture, refers to the rescue of the old with the contemporary and gives even more prominence to the piece. In a second space, panels in the Carbon and Titanium patterns, also from the Trama line, and Diamond White, from the Cristallo line, by the same brand, were used, choices that guarantee a pleasant tone to the space.
threezeroset - mmartan Store / Moysés House From a high-tech concept store, mmartan offers a sensory experience, obtained through high technology and direct interaction with the user. The architects start from the fundamental premise that drives and stimulates the purchase of products in the segment: touch. The space features Atlanta vinyl flooring, from the Art line, by Duratex.
Inspired by a cool girl who loves to dance and get together with her friends, the 37 m² space features geometric compositions on the walls, floor and headboard, bringing a playful feel to the room. The architects used the Design line panel, in the Carvalho Malva pattern, by Duratex, to give the space a delicate touch, combined with the Branco Ártico pattern, from the Trama line. On the floor, Lucy combined the Istanbul vinyl flooring patterns, from the Art line, with Chicago and Petra, both from the City line, and the Durafloor skirting boards from the Maxx line.
SP Studio - Baby Room Unconventional, the 25 m² space has everything a child needs to enjoy the different stages of childhood. In this environment, Duratex displays a mix of patterns. Among the products chosen to compose the project that the architects define as different and original are the Riviera panels, from the Cross line, and the Branco Diamante, from the Essencial line, in addition to the Chicago vinyl flooring, from the City line. To give the space a perfect finish, the architects used Durafloor skirting boards from the Essencial line.
242 Studio - Restaurant The decor of the space, which covers 400 m², takes a delightful trip back in time, more precisely to French restaurants with retro-chic décor, a style that marked the period between the 1920s and 1950s in Europe. Inspired by the natural and cozy look, the Burgos laminate flooring pattern, from the Marcas do Tempo line by CASA CLAUDIA, was chosen by Patrícia Genovese. In addition to the Durafloor flooring, the architect also chose the Álamo panel, from the Cristallo line, to cover the space and used Durafloor skirting boards from the Maxx line for finishing.
Toninho Noronha - Dining Room Toninho Noronha, in partnership with architect Renato Andrade, has revived his well-known gray palette as the basis for this 40 m² space. The
dining room uses the Carvalho Hanover panel from the Design line to cover the walls.
