Inserted in a 100 m² space, the environment created by architect Sandra Moura at
CASACOR São Paulo 2017 immediately surprises. The
Artist's Studio is a tribute from Paraíba to her fellow countryman, the master José Rufino, whose work is an elementary part of the space she created.

The place has a living room, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom, all connected by metal beams that spread throughout the space and guarantee visual continuity there. These structures offer both aesthetic and practical functions, as they act, in one fell swoop, as a shelf, wardrobe and cabinet for the kitchen.

In fact, the metal beams really seem to be jumping out of the Atlantic Forest that can be seen in the background of almost the entire project (as if they were branches). Both image and effect refer to the view from Rufino's studio, in João Pessoa (PB), where the artist retreats to create and contemplate the surrounding nature.
