The professionals chose the overlay feature to give a special touch to the environments of the Rio de Janeiro exhibition

Rugs and tapestries have been classics in interior design for centuries. They bring sumptuousness and elegance to spaces, serving as a base for all the rest of the furniture. At CASACOR Rio de Janeiro 2017 , rugs appeared in various colors, materials and sizes, but some professionals decided to enhance their spaces even more by layering the pieces.
The mix of textures and tones enriches Box 21 , by Beta Arquitetura, bringing a cosmopolitan atmosphere, inspired by New York lofts, as well as Espaço Lumina , designed by André Piva and Vanessa Borges.
In Espaço Lumina , by André Piva and Vanessa Borges, rugs play an important role: they divide the spaces in the 80 m² space, which has a living room, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom on the mezzanine. In addition to delimiting areas, the pieces overlap and harmonize, following the sober color palette of the rest of the loft. 
Professionals Bianca da Hora and Jacira Pinheiro chose to overlap two carpets of different sizes and colors, which brought a three-dimensionality and even more sensations to Cinema + Arte , which functions as an art gallery and a lounge with screens that interact with visitors.
At Ilha nas Alturas , designed by Mario Santos, the various rugs spread across the floor give an Oriental touch to the concept of tranquility that the space aims to inspire.
