The Deca environment, at the Rio de Janeiro show, was designed by architect Duda Porto and was aesthetically inspired by the ceramic manufacturing processes

Origem is Deca's space at CASACOR Rio de Janeiro 2018 . Designed by architect Duda Porto, the space is located in a privileged area of the headquarters, on the outside, surrounded by a stone wall. It is a bathroom with a conceptual feel, designed to have an essential atmosphere, valuing raw raw materials and being close to nature. 
Clay and rock, its main materials, are references to the elements used in the manufacture of crockery and ceramics, an aesthetic inspiration that guides the project. The 100 m² are shaped like a shell with walls made of rammed earth, a type of construction made of clay beams, covered with wooden louvres and permeated by a water mirror. 
Inside, a quartz and cement floor joins the palette of earthy tones and dialogues with the metallic components and accessories. Bathtubs and armchairs are available to relax to the sound of running water and admiring the views of the landscape. At night, the project takes on another meaning: the lighting makes the shell look like a ceramic firing oven.
