With a spacious 115 m², architect Mariana Paula Souza created the Modern House Karsten for CASACOR Paraná 2018. Inspired by nature, the house was built in a way that would harm the surroundings as little as possible, with a clean construction. With a clean atmosphere, the environment has integrated areas that allow contact with nature.
The wooden floor contrasts with the gray wallpaper, in a tone that simulates concrete and complements other natural elements, such as reclaimed wood tops and marble. The furniture pieces were chosen according to the relationship between design and project as a whole.
Functionality was a major concern for Mariana, who designed the Modern House ready to be lived in. For her, practicality must be accompanied by comfort and meet the needs of the occupants.
