But almost everything is on display, as a large glass skin is the only division between interior and exterior. Inside, shelves redesign the space and are filled with exclusive items, highlighted by focused lighting. To vary the presentation of the items, small tables and other displays were inserted.

Café Vila das Artes - Kaian Meira, Katinha Rodrigues and Norberto Júnior. The idea is to create a link between urban and industrial styles, as in New York's open-air art galleries and deactivated industries. Everything has that creative reuse, like the tables made with windows and the wooden slats used on the bookshelf and the base of the mirrored counter. The color palette includes the tones of hydraulic tiles, such as red and blue, with a touch of mustard. And the illuminated green ceiling is an attraction in itself.

Inspired by the personality of a 21st century baron, it showcases the resident's taste for the arts, from classical to avant-garde, from design to crafts. In this meeting of styles, there is no concern whatsoever with pre-defined concepts. The premise was to prioritize good circulation, comfort and lighting in these little over 20 meters, with emphasis on the collection on display.

As Fortaleza is also celebrating its 290th anniversary, the project also highlights references to the capital of the sun and makes use of greenery to welcome visitors.

The hydraulic tile mosaic floor, believe it or not, is original to the house and has been preserved.

Solarium - Eliana Braga and Vania Franck. The professionals created an Arabian tent, with handmade pendants and Par20 torches stuck in the ground, responsible for the lighting. Persian rugs demarcate the spaces, punctuated by cushions with Moroccan patterns and pieces made of African wood. The sideboards in Majorelle Blue refer to the season of the French designer Yves Saint Laurent, in Marrakesh.

Of course, the rosewood flooring was preserved, as were some structural openings. The solar tone on the ceiling and walls brings a regional appeal, reinforced by the works of architect and artist Stenio Burgos, inspired by the colorful embroideries of artist Nice Firmeza.

The celebratory atmosphere that inspired all of the 2016 CASACORs continues to captivate visitors toCeará , which is opening its 18th edition with 35 projects . There is no shortage of reasons to party: in addition to celebrating the 290th anniversary of Fortaleza and the 30th anniversary of the creation of CASACOR , it also marks the restoration of one of the city's most luxurious historic buildings. Casa Barão de Camocim , across from Praça Clóvis Beviláqua, was in immediate need of restoration and was a forgotten gem in downtown Fortaleza. Not anymore. The Barão mansion features unique architecture, dating back to 1880 and depicting an important period in the history of Ceará and Brazil. Along with the renovated square, it will house the new Vila das Artes program and other cultural events. For now, until December 13, it will be hosting the creativity of the 56 professionals involved in the projects. The original and renovated walls, floor and ceiling reflect the industrial style, the strong trend of incorporating natural green into interiors and other inspirations that you will learn about from now on.
