CASACOR Brasília: Professional bets on cobogó in the Baby's Room
The proposal by architect Laiana de Melo Sobral at CASACOR Brasília 2016 is simple and bold: playful Baby Room Decoration , with no intention of defining the child's sex through colors or shapes in the room's décor. 18 - Quarto do Bebê - Laiana de Melo Sobral - crédito Jomar Bragança In the 32 m² space, the professional was inspired by geometric shapes to highlight the playfulness and the use of colors outlined Laiana's objective, which is for parents to be able to design a room for their baby without even knowing the baby's sex. 18 - Quarto do Bebê - Laiana de Melo Sobral - crédito Jomar Bragança (2) The crib occupies the center of the room, in the area marked by the wallpapered moldings, which resemble wooden slats on the ceiling. The colors appear in chopped details, such as in the rugs, poufs, cushions and decorative items; otherwise, neutral tones invade the room. 18 - Quarto do Bebê - Laiana de Melo Sobral - crédito Jomar Bragança (3) Another highlight is the way the architect separated the bedroom from the baby's private area, bath and changing area. She used a wall made of cobogós (Lua model by Cerâmica Martins), which has a structural function and complements the playful decor with geometric shapes and color neutrality. Another advantage of the partition is that it does not isolate the room, so the temperature remains the same throughout the space, the baby's room and the private area.
