MACONDO - ROBERTO FRANCO. As in the work of writer Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Macondo is a place that comes from the imagination. Franco shows that it is possible to use large pieces in small spaces and organizes four plans arranged in different ways. They are covered in marble, ceramic and glass, with striking graphics on the floor - all surrounded, of course, by lush vegetation.

LA DIVA SUITE - ALEJANDRA REYES, FERNANDO JUSTINIANO AND MARÍA BELÉN MORENO. The trio departed from the classic style to achieve a glamorous atmosphere, with sophisticated textures in the tapestry, bed linen, metallic details and well-crafted items, such as the plaster on the ceiling that supports the large chandelier. Lady Di, Carolina Herrera and Madonna are icons from various eras that served as inspiration.

GUEST BATH - ROSARIO GUTIÉRREZ K. To break the rigidity, the ceiling and some regions of the walls gave way to the wooden lattice, which also replaces the skirting board in certain points. Wooden and brick panels are interspersed, contrasting with other walls covered in paper and 3D plates.

EL BIBOSI DE LOS DESEOS - GABRIELA GREINER AND NATALIA PEREYRA. Bibosi, in Spanish, is our famous Ficus. The huge tree grew embracing an old water source, accessed by a small adobe-tiled bridge. To delimit the 235 square meter space, a green wall was also installed, made of recycled wood.

DAILY EATER - ROCIO RODRIGEZ. The architect's choices are in the direction of shine. Silver and gold details, mirrors and lacquered furniture affirm sophistication, while wood and some warm colors create an environment to stay in for a long time. TAMARIND WOOD - KARIN CARLSSON. With 247 square meters and several leafy trees, Karin had no doubts: she created a shady forest with a vocation for relaxation. She added other foliage to bring a tropical atmosphere and invested in circular wooden benches, which visually integrate with the surroundings.

The eclectic style of the dining room features the elegance of the lacquered furniture and highlights the contrast with the natural wood, worked in conjunction with Kirah Design. The ceiling and walls are built in layers, enhanced by the lighting. The deep blue dominates the details and connects all areas.

PARABANÓ - CARLOS X. ARAÚZ, ERWIN AMELUNGE AND VERONICA MELGAR. Parrots, parakeets and macaws that inhabit small clay houses inspire the setting, which functions as an office that lasts until happy hour. Bricks, wood and the floor invaded by foliage print guarantee the tropical climate of the environment, experienced under the generous canopy of the tree.

HUÉSPEDES SUITE - EDUARDO BALDELOMAR. The guest suite was installed where the garage used to be. The original function was maintained, as was the connection between the set and the rest of the house, but the 108m2 space was redesigned and gained a loft feel. The concrete floor with a natural texture combines resistance and contemporary style.

An urban farm is the charming setting chosen for CASACOR Bolivia 2017 , which will remain open until May 13. The approximately 5,000 m² of area expands the creativity of the 56 professionals, including architects, designers and landscapers. They are responsible for 33 environments, 21 of which are outdoors - a sign that nature prevailed in this edition, which could not fail to value the more than 100 varieties of trees, shrubs and other plants that exist.The real estate of the last century also received special attention, with projects that create true refuges. The simplicity of natural elements and Eastern wisdom in search of balance guided some works, which explore the rustic, brutalist aesthetic and the encounter with the essential.
