CASACOR 2017: 20 environments with natural stones in evidence
The use of natural stones in decoration gained momentum in 2017. Timeless, they add texture to any project, in addition to rescuing aspects of pre-modernist architecture. At the various CASACOR events this year, many professionals highlighted the use of these materials in their spaces, especially marble. Check it out!

CASACOR São Paulo. Loft Romanov - Suite Arquitetos. Natural stones appear on the dining and coffee tables. However, it is in the large mosaic that the marble stands out. Conceived based on the reinterpretation of patterns and flooring arrangements, the assembly was designed by the office and executed with leftover material. The panel is the backdrop for the living room and covers the external surface of the box that houses the bathroom on the opposite side. The internal surfaces were covered with honed Perlino Rosé.

CASACOR Goiás. Pergola Refuge - Nando Nunes. The highlight is the bathtub carved in black quartzite on the pebble floor. The bench, also made of stone, extends throughout the space and serves as support for both the SPA and the gourmet space.

CASACOR Balneário Camboriú. Home Theater - Ileon Arquitetura - Alexander Storti, Jeferson Potestino, Bruno Tonietto, Ileon de Mello and Jordana Battisti. The emotions of cinema and the glamour of the 1950s guide the project. The mother-of-pearl screen directs the eye to the ceiling, while the exotic stone creates a close-up on the wall.

CASACOR Balneário Camboriú. Master Suite - A Bachelorette in Soho - Lili Golunski. Cosmopolitan and at the same time connected to memories of the places the professional visited. This is the suite, which includes a bathroom covered in marble with white and gold veins.

In the composition of this living room, the architect applied Elegnant Brown marble to the floor and walls with a velvet finish that has a soft and velvety touch and maintains the natural characteristics of the product, covering the main wall with a ceiling height of 4 m.

CASACOR Balneário Camboriú Functional Lavatories - Elaine Gurevich and Evandro Cruz. The natural beauty of translucent marble with built-in lighting dominates the 35 m² space. The material is also present in the polished countertop, with built-in sinks and gold-plated metalwork to complement it. In addition to the sophistication, the smooth surfaces make cleaning easier.
