CASACOR 2016: Passages and Corridors for good circulation

CASACOR Ceará 2016. Grand Entrance - Sergei de Castro. When the visitor enters, they find a modern multicolored chandelier as the centerpiece. In addition, the professional arranged designer furniture to create a conceptual yet comfortable space, in contrast to the old architecture of the house. In fact, around one of the doors, two works of tropical landscapes refer to the colonial period.

CASACOR Campinas 2016. Casa Cor Square and Lounge - Mauro Contesini, Erlon Tessari, Eduardo Muzi and Vanderlei Bergamasco. The lighting systems, security cameras and ambient sound can be controlled via cell phone. A skate park with graphics and art pieces reveal the cultural aspect that was intended to be imprinted on the place, which also brings together rustic plants, with emphasis on the Sun impatiens species.

CASACOR Paraíba 2016. Loft do Campo – Rodolfo Albuquerque and Leonardo Couto. The conscious use of available resources is the basis of the narrative of this space, which begins with the reuse of a shipping container. From it, a cozy loft was created that linearly connects the living room, kitchen and suite. Fixed furniture occupies one of the walls and a single strip of lighting flows throughout all the spaces.

CASACOR Paraíba 2016. Burle Marx Garden – Patrícia Lago and Heignne Jardim. To preserve and enhance the design of one of the greatest landscapers of the 20th century, elements were added to guide visitors’ gaze through the tropical vegetation. Relaxation areas with contemporary furniture, vertical gardens and a water feature reinforce the intimate and Brazilian feel.

CASACOR Goiás 2016. Jardim – Mayara Oliveira and Luciana Valadão. The organic furniture line by artist Hugo França fits perfectly into the proposal, both for its environmental concern and its design. The modern layout of the place is also marked by the cement cladding and small bricks that form two floors on different levels. The small outdoor fireplace brings warmth and charm to the environment.

CASACOR São Paulo 2016. Galeria Grassi - Fabio Morozini. The discreet color palette, some antique pieces and a sumptuous 19th-century Baccarat chandelier highlight the art collection, which includes works by Tomie Othake and Arcangelo Ianelli. The name of the space comes from its inspiration, the Palazzo Grassi in Venice, where the architect's family lives.

CASACOR Mato Grosso do Sul 2016. Family Balcony - Eloisa Vicari and Liana Godoy. Comfort is the key word in this tribute to Brazilian balconies. Without a TV or other electronics, it invites you to enjoy nature on the rustic textured floor, on the stone and brick walls, and on the striking presence of wood. The greenery provides freshness and infiltrates the ceiling beams or imposes itself on the walls covered in plants.

CASACOR São Paulo 2016. Sustainable Home - Mindlin Loeb and Dotto Arquitetura Inovatech. Architects Caio Dotto and Rodrigo Mindlin Loeb, together with engineer Luiz Henrique Ferreira, present their proposal for a modular and demountable home. Zizi Calderari is responsible for the ambiance, which affirms simple language by valuing popular culture in basketwork, ceramics, clay objects and soapstone. The pine carpentry is by designer Paulo Alves.

CASACOR São Paulo 2016. Escada das Luzes - Maurício Arruda, Fabio Mota and Lais Delbianco. Going up and down stairs has never been so interesting. The professionals attached mirrors to the sides that reflect the ceiling covered with almost 300 lamps. They light up in different combinations as visitors walk by.

CASACOR Rio Grande do Sul 2016. Art Gallery - Paula Lino. The project renovates the space while preserving the building's striking elements, such as the original solid wood staircase.

CASACOR Campinas 2016. Lounge - Leandro Rocha and Flávio Tonico. A reception and relaxation area was created on the autoclaved pine deck, mixed with low-maintenance vegetation. The space becomes more welcoming with outdoor furniture. The use of reforested wood and cutting-edge photovoltaic solar energy generation technology make the project sustainable.

CASACOR Rio de Janeiro 2016. Jardim da Fonte - Daniela Infante. In front of the main entrance to the mansion, one of the Rocha Miranda family's favorites: the garden designed for them by Roberto Burle Marx. The space is for contemplating, sitting and admiring - that's why she distributed benches and chairs from Arteiro.

CASACOR São Paulo 2016. Urban Sidewalk - Michel Farah. The city is an extension of the home, in the eyes of the professional who designed the central flowerbed of the Jockey Club's main avenue. The plants are weather-resistant and the wooden benches create resting areas. Bicycle racks welcome those who arrive by bike.

CASACOR Paraíba 2016. Flamboyant Garden – Aldemar Maciel, Odair Tavares and Rodolfo Cruz. Coexistence and interaction are key words in the project, which takes advantage of the existing vegetation. Wooden benches, rope pieces and a mix of ceramic coverings create a cozy setting in neutral tones. The original floor was replaced with water-draining tiles. Finally, works by visual artist Chico Ferreira.

CASACOR Campinas 2016. Landscaping and side - Alexandre Galhego. The drainage floor covers the facade and the surrounding area. The deck is made of autoclaved pine, from reforestation. The garden prioritizes native species that can be admired from a small living room.

CASACOR Brasília 2016. Jardim Café - Mara Rubia. With 141m², the space celebrates water, earth, fire and air. The lighting highlights the main elements, one of which is the ecological fireplace covered in polished marble and fragments of ornamental rocks.

CASACOR Paraíba 2016. Exit Lounge – Aline Montenegro, Pedro Rossi and Flávia Giangiulio. Images and lighting, tactile elements and sounds draw attention to the importance of perceiving space through the sensations it provokes. Landmarks of local architecture were drawn on the walls and stand out.
