CASA COR SP: Store consists of MDF puzzles in a container
02-lojacasacorsp2016 Based on Brazilian diversity, Gustavo Calazans brought the CASA COR São Paulo 2016 Store into a container. The space is only 12 x 5 m and uses a single material, but in different patterns. 01-lojacasacorsp2016 Calazans used only wood-based MDF in a reticulated puzzle of 200 different pieces that fit together to form shelves that start from the ceiling and run down the walls - leaving only one of them free, which serves as both an entrance and a display window. 05-lojacasacorsp2016 With this inspiration from traditional wooden and indigenous constructions, the professional also reinforces the richness of the fittings of Brazilian crafts, which serve as support for the store's objects. 04-lojacasacorsp2016 A huge rosewood table by Jorge Zalszupin occupies the center of the room, and above it are handmade lamps by designer Adriana Yazbek, punctuating other representatives of national design. 03-lojacasacorsp2016 The lighting was designed by light designer Sergio Funari, who enhances the structure, and is all done with LED strips installed behind the horizontal lines of the structure - used as shelves.
