CASA COR RS: high ceilings and open plan at Loft for Life

[youtube ] The professional duo Dany Bitencourt and Wagner Costa designed the Loft For Life for CASA COR Rio Grande do Sul 2016. Two characteristics of lofts - high ceilings and an open plan with connected spaces - are emphasized in the project, which occupies the old hall Petrópole Tennis Club dance hall. The duo took advantage of the large windows to bring natural light to the scene and exposed the solid walls of the 1940s building. They serve as a backdrop for works by Tomie Ohtake, Siron Franco, Iberê Camargo and other names, curated by Cézar Pontes. The free-standing furniture is also signed, with pieces by Luia Mantelli and Rejane Carvalho, arranged on the kilim rug.
