With 140 m², the Villa Foyer, designed by Jimmy Bastian Pinto, at CASA COR Rio de Janeiro 2015 , is a garden full of humor, history and colors that portrays the trajectory and good humor of Rio de Janeiro. “The idea was to bring together the past , the present and the eternal of Rio, which will have its story told through furniture”, explains Jimmy.

Following the timeline, the architect brought into the space a sedan chair that belonged to Barão das Águas Claras, his great-grandfather, from the Imperial era. From the early years of the Republic, there are covers and advertisements from Careta Magazine – a kind of Charlie Hebdo of the time. , a time when humor did not need to respect "political correctness". And there are also pieces of furniture representing the 1950s and 1960s and photos of funk dances, taken by Vincent Rosenblat, as representatives of the 2010s.

The ambiance is dominated by blue and green colors, which are reminiscent of beaches and lagoons. Red, on the other hand, brings all the sensuality of Rio de Janeiro. There are also imperial palm trees from the Botanical Garden, insects and butterflies on the wallpapers by Christian Lacroix, as well as numerous contemporary pieces.
