CASACOR Goiás 2014: decoration in harmony with nature
At the beginning of the 20th century, the Art Nouveau style emerged as a response to the standardization and coldness of the industries that already dominated some landscapes in Europe. Its elaborate forms, return to craftsmanship and use of wood expressed the search for a life more connected to nature. And it is not difficult to see that this need has been revived in the present day. The 68 professionals who designed the 47 environments of CASACOR Goiás 2014 captured this feeling and updated the desire to be close to nature, to feel the richness of natural materials and to bring more beauty and simplicity to everyday life. All of this, of course, without sacrificing the functionality and comfort that technology offers. So, it is no coincidence that some spaces bring references to the Art Nouveau aesthetic, incorporate sustainable raw materials, highlight green walls and ceilings, and explore more natural color palettes in furniture, fabrics and finishes. Not to mention a careful selection of furniture by Brazilian designers. Curious? Then check out the details of each space in the gallery above:
