This maturity is reflected in the various approaches explored by professionals to reinvent Brazilianness. Some people are betting on the loft style and urban graffiti, natural textures and green walls, or other ideas, as organizer Sheila Podestá points out. “It’s a rescue of Brazilian culture.” and Brazilian styles such as the cobogó, a striking element in Brasília's architecture that is reemerging strongly in current projects", he says. For other professionals, Brazilianness can be confirmed in the modern style and minimalism of Oscar Niemeyer. Or will it come from the other extreme, as in the baroque luxury that invites copper and gold into contemporary spaces. All these trends are seemingly disconnected in space and time, but they have in common excellence in design and materials.
