Casa Burgundy has the charm of a real home in Ribeirão Preto

A house that makes you want to live in it, the project by Thiago Manarelli and Ana Paula Guimarães for CASACOR Ribeirão Preto in 2019 it begs to be lived in. The touches of personality and the openings to the natural environment give it the charm of a real home. In an unpretentious way, Casa Burgundy welcomes guests with warm and accurate materials, such as light wood, which solves the entire space without overloading its aesthetics. In addition to giving the project its title, burgundy – a tone that references the wine produced in the Burgundy region of France – also colors the space’s facade. The window frames are also French, allowing the interior to be bathed in natural light. The exposed bricks divide the scene with them, and they already give a sign of what the color scheme will be like inside. Inspired by the Cabana , a project created by the duo for CASACOR São Paulo last year , the concepts are reinterpreted here. The glass enclosures and graphic elements are repeated, but in a modern way, in keeping with contemporary living, integrating the living room, kitchen , suite and balcony. The construction recycles the Scandinavian design trend to create a truly Brazilian home, as suggested by the gable roof. Neutral tones predominate, helping to calm the eye and allowing the focus to be placed on the selected pieces.
