Car gains status as a work of art in CASACOR Ceará garage
A giant beveled frame serves as the façade of the Renault Garage Lounge at CASA COR Ceará 2015 , designed by the firm of architect Rosalinda Pinheiro. "In this minimalist project, the solution enhances the vehicle, transforming it into a true work of art. I chose white as the predominant color, including for the car," says the professional. The fact that the space was monochromatic allowed for a greater mix of furniture and covering styles, playing with different textures and designs. Contemporary pieces are accompanied by vintage and classic ones. This diversity also represents our Brazilianness – a culture that exudes joy, vibrancy, and hospitality. And all of this comes down to a passion for life. The New Fluence , by Renault , is not only the main element of the setting, but also reinforces the importance that the resident of this house gives to the pleasure of driving and receiving people with elegance and comfort.
Along with the car in the spotlight, the lattice inspired by the Renault logo is a closure that allows light and ventilation to enter and also provides a certain amount of privacy to the environment. Note the combination of the two lamps above the Fluence. Designed by Egyptian designer Karim Rashid, they look like floating sculptures that draw the eye even further towards the vehicle. The furniture and carpet are harmoniously placed on the ceramic floor with hexagonal tiles that resemble the small tiles of the same shape that were widely used in the 1960s. This vintage touch contrasts with the contemporary lighting, which uses LEDs.
