CASACOR Santa Catarina | Florianópolis 2019. Painted by Willy Zumblick, the portrait revived family memories, which the brothers carried out of the 20th century and revamped. for contemporary times. The 50 m² layout is marked by earthy tones and precise touches of gold, the color that gave the space its name.
Preparing food, chatting around the stove and reading books: all the activities carried out in the kitchen revolve around the fixed furniture, which was designed by professionals. The furniture offers practicality and attention to detail, with the wooden interior laminate and the doors in light lacquer. The arrangement of the furniture creates several spaces in one, as Giovani explains. "We created a space that could incorporate the concept of collective living within the kitchen, whether with armchairs for private conversations near the bookshelf, or at the table for meals where people spend time together. long hours. Or even on a counter incorporated into the island, with stools for chatting while preparing food."
The decoration explores the space's timeline, in an arrangement of contemporary pieces that relate, in their colors and materials, to the project's classic soul.
