CASACOR São Paulo 2017: Moacir Junior and Salvio Junior - Living Bar. It is possible to move between dining, living, bar and office, in the space that maintains the tranquility of neutral tones. With a homey feel, it features hand-crafted filleted carpentry, which ensures unity between the spaces. Another graphic element is the checkered glass, above the shelf counter. Straight lines predominate, but there is space for the iconic Chifruda armchair, by Sergio Rodrigues.

For meetings, the space has a Legg table by Jader Almeida, with a matte black nero marble top, and Herman Miller chairs. Two Moles armchairs by Sergio Rodrigues complete the welcoming atmosphere of the space.

Brazilian furniture, works of art and photographs are added to the proposal to translate the comfort of the traveler's arrival and the boldness of the landscapes visited, for which it features a copy of the Mole armchair by Sergio Rodrigues.

The Chifruda armchairs by Sergio Rodrigues are there, as is the Latão armchair by Lina Bo Bardi. The Amorfa table is by Arthur Casas. Works of art by the author in partnership with ceramist and visual artist Iêda Jardim are also present.

It is impossible to think about Brazilian design without remembering the master Sergio Rodrigues. His pieces translate the Brazilianness of the beach and the sea of Rio into furniture. At the CASACOR 2017 exhibitions, the designer was a favorite among the professionals in the cast. In 2017, however, two armchairs stood out: the Mole and the Chifruda .

Very different, these unique pieces were created for very different purposes. Sergio created Mole with the idea of offering the comfort of a bed translated into a chair; and Chifruda for his store Oca, in the exhibition “Furniture as a Work of Art”, in 1962.
