01-banheiro-feminino-casacorsp2016 The architects, Barbara Gomes and Giulliana Savioli, from Studio 011 Arquitetura, debut at CASA COR São Paulo 2016 by creating the Women's Public Bathroom in the exhibition. Despite being a simple space, measuring just 13 m², visitors are surprised to see the floor and wall coverings, which are the highlight of the space. The professionals mined marble chips to create an innovative, sophisticated, and above all, sustainable mosaic.
“Everything was custom-made and thought out with great care. Creating a functional environment for the exhibition was a great challenge, but also a privilege” comments Giulliana. 02-banheiro-feminino-casacorsp2016 In addition to the covering, the space has off white and raw tones, Deca metals in matte gold and a Duratex slatted ceiling. “We are super excited to participate in CASA COR for the first time, even more so as this is the edition in which the event celebrates its 30th anniversary. We chose a project that follows the art decó line, already present at Jockey, as a way of paying homage to the city's heritage and this special moment of the exhibition, in addition to celebrating our debut” explains Barbara. 03-banheiro-feminino-casacorsp2016
