[galeria-abril id='25275' type='slider'] Until 1994, the former Santa Ana school of nuns operated as an educational establishment. Now, more than two decades later, it reopens its doors to reveal the 29 rooms of
CASACOR Bolivia . The colonial-style building is a historical heritage site of the city and began its activities in 1982. During the restoration, which cost around half a million dollars, original elements of the chapel were revealed, as well as some tiles and other details of the building that inspired the 37 professionals who participated, including Brazilian Giovana Murta, an architect based in Bolivia.
A highlight is the chapel converted into an art gallery, to display 34 works by local artists. Among the trends, geometric floors are on the rise, as are natural textures and mixes of styles: vintage meets sacred, neoclassical dialogues with the modern and, thus, the spaces are designed according to the latest launches and intelligent ideas, without losing sight of the particularities of the place.
