At 68 m², Yamagata Arquitetura presents a well-designed home at
CASACOR São Paulo 2018 , with a living room, dining room, suite, kitchen and deck, all integrated. This is the
Nuage Annex (which in French means cloud), and was designed to be both a stand-alone space and a complementary space to a larger house. It is also intended to be a type of construction that can be implemented repeatedly and result in a village.
With a contemporary atmosphere, the professionals inserted the project into a listed building, interfering in a subtle and contemporary way, while respecting the original architecture. The residence has a color palette that ranges from beige to light gray, maintaining a sobriety and ethereal atmosphere.
In terms of style, the project is inspired by Scandinavian and modern essence, both in the choice of furniture and in the coverings. The annex has a shelf that runs the entire length, housing cabinets, objects and kitchen utensils. The professional Bruno Rangel , a member of Yamagata Arquitetura, designed the sofa for
Nuage , which is located in the center of the space and takes center stage, next to the fireplace, creating a cozy and comfortable atmosphere.
One of the highlights is the arrangement, made with pampas grass, which forms a kind of cloud above the dining table, translating and making reference to the name that gives the annex its name. Other works of art, such as the artistic installation by Ricardo Teixeira, beautify and impresses in the deck area, exposing trunks decorated with fungi and black polyester screens, which display the connection of the construction of biomes.
