CASA COR Rio de Janeiro , which takes place between September 1st and October 4th, in addition to decoration, also has history. The 42 spaces of the event were set up in the recently restored Villa Aymoré, a composition of nine houses built at the beginning of the 20th century.
To tell the story of the Villa's restoration, the Rio exhibition features the Memory Space, a 68 m² space created by Raf and Lafem -- the company responsible for the works -- which shows the project step by step, from approval by the city hall and the studies carried out, until the incorporation of new buildings, such as the Baronesa Building.
The story will be told through archeological and restoration sketches, photos of the archaeological finds and the model of the Villa in a gallery atmosphere, combined with contemporary furniture.
