Who said you can't put your shoes on the couch? Or on mobile? In the world of architecture, anything can be done and the trend now is to finish off the decor with a piece like this on the coffee table, sideboard or bookshelf. "Shoes have always been something very intimate, but at the same time they reveal beauty and a little of our essence to the world. I think that including this icon in the environment gives the feeling of warmth and belonging. We feel more welcomed and closer to what we are contemplating ", explains architect Sandra Picciotto, who used the trend in her space at
CASACOR São Paulo 2017 .

Born in Tunisia and based in London, designer Tom Dixon is one of those responsible for shoes occupying the decoration
trend list in 2017. This is because the piece is part of the
Ecletics collection, created by the young man in 2012 and which brings together a series of gift items. After him, others were inspired by the idea and started using different types of shoes in decoration and the fashion, it seems, caught on. That's good, because shoes are great and everyone loves them! See below some environments that are following this trend! Leo Shehtman also joined the idea and brought the black version of the piece created by Tom Dixon to decorate the coffee table at
Casa Grafismo . "For me, the most important thing in a person is the smile and the shoes", jokes the architect when highlighting the importance of the piece, both in common use and in decor.

Thiago Manarelli and Ana Paula Guimarães took examples made of wood to decorate the closet, present in their space, the
Master Suite .

In the
Casa do Bosque space, by Olegario de Sá and Gilberto Cioni, equestrian boots also served as decorations in the couple's bedroom.

At
Casa Cosmos , by Michel Safatle, the trend is very present. He took there a pair of boots, which he uses in his training, and also an All Star, also from his personal use and collection, which decorates the reading corner.

In the Suíte Arquitetos space, the
Romanov Loft , lightness and what shoes can add to the place are revealed. The presence of a couple of pieces there already creates an air of coziness. And the coolest thing: they are made of cement!

In the
Living Bar space, by Moacir Jr. and Salvio Jr., Tom Dixon's art is also present and is one of the highlights of the decor.

At the
Viajante's Loft , Maicon Antoniolli also brought shoes to compose the decor. The pieces chosen by the architect are made of wood and give a special touch to the place.
The
+55 studio , by Triart Arquitetura, presents a model made of wood, which serves as a paperweight, in addition to elegantly decorating the place.
