Dining Room - Ana Luiza Menezes and Fernanda Amaral. Straight lines and geometric shapes are highlighted in this contemporary dining room proposal. The influence of the hi-lo style is reflected in the mix of luxurious pieces, such as the Dior granite table, and the large Sputnik chandelier that hangs over the table.

Toy library - Beatriz Lyra, Dalton Moreira Fernandes, Fernanda Barros and Renata Maxlayne. The fantastic universe of “A Terra dos Meninos Pelados”, written in 1939, by Graciliano Ramos, leads to the conception of this space. The idea is to surprise visitors by combining classics and technology. An unusual chandelier, designed by Maria José Santana, from Artear completes the atmosphere.

Gourmet Space - Priscilla Rocha and Cleo Farias. The duo of professionals worked with neutral tones, such as gray, bronze and nude in the color palette. Focus on lighting, a fundamental piece in the design of the space, formed by sophisticated bronze filament lamps.

Gourmet Balcony - Melina Armstrong Villar. In this project, the gourmet space takes on a new look. The counter wall and ceiling feature the work of Alagoan artist Julia Nogueira, from Sertão Encantado. Three chandeliers illuminate a corner of the space.

Daughter's Suite - Emanuelle Barbosa and Oeiza Jacquesy. Spacious and functional, this suite was designed to meet the needs of a modern teenager. The decor features modern rose-colored light fixtures and simple shapes to bring a youthful spirit to the space.

Arena do Saber - Evelyne Cruz and Marcus Godoy. The goal of the architect duo was to create an area to promote teaching and knowledge. The area is divided in two, with a bookshelf marking the segmentation. The cylindrical chandelier above the armchairs is a highlight.

Chandeliers are decorative objects that have been used since the 17th century to illuminate the grand halls of nobles and kings with candles. Even today, these pieces carry an air of sumptuousness, but modern design has reinvented their materials and structures, making them versatile and very popular.

At CASACOR Alagoas 2017 , chandeliers were the choice of many professionals to illuminate their spaces. In the most varied rooms, chandeliers were present in different shapes and styles at the show. Visitors will find everything from trendy chandeliers, such as the Sputnik, in the Dining Room , to more conceptual pieces, such as the unusual chandelier in the Toy Library , designed by Maria José Santana, from Artear.
