Wood warms up the spaces at CASACOR Ribeirão Preto 2018

Mutante Workshop - Mariana Orsi. The 105 m² space includes an events area and a studio. Dark porcelain is a sober and timeless choice, used on the floor, benches and countertops. Wood is the raw material for the entire structure and pivoting doors. They allow a view of the furniture with pieces designed by Brazilian designers, such as the Voltaire armchair by Sérgio Rodrigues.

CASACOR Store - Matheus Benetti. In the external area, the space received MDF cladding resistant to sun and rain. The material was used as a closure and shelves on the entrance wall of the space.

Chef's Kitchen - Marcia Okamura. Comfort and practicality are the key words in this 20 m² space. With wooden walls, the space has furniture in shades of gray and mirrored surfaces that guarantee timelessness.

Gaia Space - Rosana Ferreira and Fernanda Cândido. The professionals focused on the sensorial experience of the 28 m² space. The dark wood pattern was used as a backdrop to receive the Swarovski crystals with LED strips, which give the space the glow of stars, while the niches have a darker tone.

Terra Vermelha Room - Tide Junqueira. The panels covering the walls and shelves warm up the space, which has agriculture as its reference. The use of rustic materials such as hydraulic tiles and wood are reminiscent of the region's farms, and the contrast between classic and contemporary furniture shows the cultural richness of Ribeirão Preto.

Children's Bathroom - Lucéia Ambrózio Inspired by the Montessori method, the architect designed a place that could contribute positively to the child's development and independence. The bowl, surrounded by the MDF sink, acts as a step that gives access to the tap. Colorful MDF niches help the tub, containing objects for personal hygiene and playful toys that are visible and close at hand so that they can be used by little ones, without them needing an adult to do so. Next to the Hot Tub there is a bar slider with manual shower where the child can operate the water jet in a pleasant and functional way. On the wooden support that snakes around the Ofurô, bath books and personal hygiene objects can be easily found.

Toscana Arauco Restaurant - Ângela Dorascenzi and Monica Costa. With 200m², the space has preserved the style of the structure that houses the exhibit and has made a connection with natural elements. Inside the space, the architects used earthy tones of wood, natural stones, fabrics and textures that provide a cozy feel.

La Fenêtre toilet - Roberta de Miranda. The starting point of the architect, who designed the 8.17 m² space, was to bring nature into the space through Photography by Ana Isméria Velludo with a digital collage of windows from the Louvre Museum superimposed on vegetation in Fort Lauderdale-USA . The photograph is framed by an MDF box, which also surrounds the porcelain countertop and highlights the cut of the piece.

Family Home Theater - Marina Zanatto Arquitetura e Interiores. Remember when the whole family would get together to watch TV? With this nostalgic feel, the 23 m² space takes on the warmth of wood and the comfort of the suede sofa with leather details. The rectilinear carpentry is lacquered in black.

Family Kitchen - C4 Arquitetos. Bruno Castanhari, Diego Buzato, Gustavo Pinto and Marco Castro focus on velvety texture in the coverings and joinery. The proposal also uses dark tones in cabinets and walls, which contrast with the wood on the fish scale floor. Two large recesses in the walls form niches lined with wood and create different spaces.

Bar Renato Aguiar Prêt-à-Porter - Alexandre Calil Salles. The professional was inspired by his long-time friend in this bar to enjoy good times. On the fabric walls, handmade paintings represent bookshelves. The gray marble also looks like a drawing, on the counter that highlights the natural beauty of the material with the help of lighting. To finish, the warmth of the reclaimed wood on the tables and the porcelain floor.

Casa do Bosque - Cacau Ribeiro Interior Architecture. In this refuge integrated with nature, warm colors emanate from the fabrics and natural wood, in their different shapes and tones. The layout is loose in the 118 m² loft, with furniture by Brazilian designers and finds by antiques dealer Arnaldo Danemberg.

Children's Room - Mariana Hetem and Pedro Code. Measuring 22 m², the space is characterized by neutral tones that reference Brazilian fauna, incorporating pieces by national designers. The main inspiration for the project comes from the professionals' own childhood memories, who created a non-technological and more creative room than conventional ones. The carpentry stands out on the shelves and the bed frame.

Our Wine Cellar - Antonio Bettarello. Measuring 9 m², the space features MDF applied as wall covering in combination with Corten steel plates. “To create a wine cellar with characteristics ranging from rustic to contemporary, I chose to bring nature into the space by using wood in its natural state, which can be found in the furniture and combined with contemporary touches from other elements in the space,” Bettarello points out.
