An innovative space that uses “focus on the essential” to encourage social interaction

Architect André Alf, from Alf Arquitetura & Design, wanted to surprise by creating the Lugar INcomum space for the 26th edition of CASACOR Brasília . Created in conjunction with architect Marina Lage, this space is a restaurant for chef Paulo de Tarso, which operates during the show with a special menu. Find out more by clicking here!
Knowing that technology and digital media have affected contact between people, professionals have transformed the basic elements of a restaurant, such as sofas, tables and chairs, into an aesthetic and intimate experience, “with timeless decoration and aspects that highlight the plurality that exists in human beings”, according to André.
With 156 m², Lugar INcomum has slatted panels in solid wood from Oca Brasil, wooden ceiling and acoustic clouds, porcelain flooring with a natural stone print from Portinari and aluminum and glass frames to provide transparency for the interior and exterior of the space. . The furniture was designed by Guilherme Torres and Ligeri. Landscaper Cleber Depieri was responsible for completing the atmosphere with natural touches.
