Wood is an excellent resource for covering environments. Its organic nature brings a natural warmth and its versatility allows for countless compositions. At CASACOR Rio de Janeiro 2018 , professionals opted for a variation of the material: slats. Light and elegant, this type of panel allows light to pass through, as well as creating lines that make surfaces more dynamic. In the Psychoanalysis Office , designed by Isabella Lucena and Paula Gusmão, the outline and color of the wood create the intimate atmosphere needed for the place. 
In Estar do Coliving , by Jairo de Sender, the slats offer a counterpoint to the curves of the carpet and the flowers on the wallpaper. 
Contemporary and classic styles are present in OffiCEO . The professionals at AB Arquitetura e Interiores chose a curved slatted panel that outlines the high-back sofa. 
In the Correspondent's Room , designed by Roberta Nicolau, they house the lights, creating a futuristic graphic effect. A similar technique was used by Lia Lamego in the Historian's Room .
