6 environments at CASACOR Rio 2015 marked by glass and mirrors

CASA COR Rio de Janeiro 2015 is at Villa Aymoré until October 4th, where visitors can check out trends and be inspired by the innovations and proposals that the show brings. In six of the edition's spaces, innovative solutions can be found in the use of mirrors and glass, supplied by Guardian, such as in Jantar à Carioca , a space designed by Mariana Dornelles and Stéfano Barino with a tropical climate theme. The space features a table made of UltraClear Glass. There are also mirrors, one of which was placed behind a cement cobogó, creating an interesting optical illusion on the open wall. Another was used to add depth and extend the hanging garden, reflecting the kitchen wall and, applied as a skirting board, to create a visual effect that gives the impression that the cabinet is floating. The Bela Arte Living Room , designed by Ricardo Melo and Rodrigo Passos, is inspired by prints, textures, shapes and materials from the 70s and 80s. Furthermore, the major trend that marks this space is the application of bronze mirrors. The 50-Year-Old Apartment , designed by Caco Borges, reflects the youthful spirit, physical fitness and maturity of this generation. To apply this concept, one of the architect's choices was to use mirrors in the gourmet kitchen and bedroom. The cooktop was made of UltraClear Glass, a product that was also used on the TV stand. The table and shelves in the living room were also made of glass. Aymoré Jewelry , designed by Marcella Bacellar, reflects the fresh and laid-back style of Rio de Janeiro, reflected in its contemporary and vintage character. The designer used UltraClear Glass to create the store's windows.

One of the most hi-tech spaces in the show, Lab LZ by GT , by Gisele Taranto, was created with the intention of taking people out of their comfort zone, encouraging them to think about different forms of housing and their creative processes. The idea is that this will be a space for meetings and lectures. The floor is made of a mirror in the empty space between the existing subfloor and the finished floor. Finally, architects Alessandro Sartore and João Marcelo Schiewe designed the Delonghi and Kenwood Immersion environment, where glass was used as wall covering in the area for tasting Italian coffees and on the floor to reveal the original floor of Villa Aymoré.
