3 technological environments of CASA COR Pará 2015
In addition to trends in decoration, professionals at CASA COR also invest in technological innovations. And at the Pará state show, architects and designers invested in new technologies and applied them very well in their environments. Like in the Living High Tech of the Young Entrepreneur , by Fábio Seixas and Fernando Navarro, where the resident controls the lighting, curtains and home theater through a cell phone (Android or iOS), a Kpad or an LCD Touch. "The environment is reminiscent of New York factory warehouses and the use of dark tones highlights a masculine environment. To make it more interesting, a pool table (which doubles as a dining table) and a Jukebox with a playlist featuring the best of the 80s and 90s", explain the professionals. 1-CASACOR-PARA-TECNOLOGIA In the Classroom of the Future , architects Daniel Leão and Rafela Verbicaro brought immersive virtual reality technology to space using 3D glasses. In it, students from the Game Development and Architecture and Urban Planning courses at IESAM design entire environments so that users can walk around and interact with the completely virtual environment. “We also have another technology for projecting digital content onto screens, so that visitors can see everything more clearly and interact with the environment,” says Daniel Leão.
The Game Room, designed by architect Aniela Kalif and designer Pedro Ratis, is reminiscent of computer games. On the wall, the pictures were placed in the shape of Space Veders, an iconic Atari game created in 1978. Colorful furniture is shaped like Tetris -- another very popular electronic game, released in 1984 -- and is purposely separated to simulate the game's falling motion. There is also an almost psychedelic mirror, making visitors feel like they are in a portal, where projections of games from the Atari to the present day are displayed. The lighting in the space was designed to make visitors feel like they are inside a video game. Throughout the room, you can find 'Easter Eggs': a craze among technology addicts, where the goal is to find 'secrets' inside programs, websites, games, and DVDs. 'Secrets' are purposely placed so that people can discover where they are. 3-CASACOR-PARA-TECNOLOGIA HOME COLOR SERVICE PARÁ 2015 WHERE? WHEN? From October 14th to November 29th.
