Gardeners Geórgia Botelho and Rodrigo Vieira take care of the delicate Side Garden of “Casa Dr. Oswaldo Cabral” every day. The space inspires the gardener in everyone, and it was with this feeling that they took care to combine the contemporary with the vintage in perfect harmony. Highlights include the colors and rarely used botanical species. All in an attempt to enhance the Brazilian way of living. With flowers, ironwork and Vietnamese vases made of sandblasted sandstone, the garden is next to the colonial bench, also listed as a Municipal Historical Heritage site, which lends the charm of the space.

Drip irrigation was the technology adopted to maintain the greenery, which also received organic fertilization. This is an increasingly common trend, recycling organic waste in compost to fertilize gardens, as well as the use of demolition materials. Art is also present in the work developed by Najan Nunes, Daniel Faria and Adriana Bernardes.

The Historian's Balcony was designed and built by professionals Rose Campos and Marco Antônio Medeiros, in a 45 m² space. A mix of styles was incorporated, encompassing eclectic colonial architecture, through classic elements and ornaments, with modern colors and textures. Bamboo wall finishes, with automotive paint and an exclusive design, stand out on the façade. The mix of porcelain and marble, in the color fendi, on the floor, also helped to create a natural and cozy look.

The architects used panels of natural moss imported from Italy, fixed to the ceiling. And to complete the charm, symmetrical vases, composing with the vegetation that every balcony needs, in addition to the unusual use of a shelf with contemporary lines, to accommodate the collection and items that the resident most likes. Lanterns and candles provide warmth and comfort, and custom-made ceiling fans with natural fiber will cool the environment.

Architect Adriana Tiezzi presents the Entrance Hall , with 9.76 m². The inspiration came from the grand mansions of the time the building was built, referring to the use of noble materials, such as marble, glossy wood panels and boserie applications. “In the project we used timeless materials, which do not follow trends. A characteristic of the office, but we can say that the glossy wood panel is a trend”, says the architect. Among the highlights are the ceiling with application of PVC panels simulating plaster detailing and the marble mosaic. The Hall has a burgundy velvet sofa, with a retro design.
