Dining Room - Janaina Macedo. The 4-meter-long table has a carbonized Pequiá wood top. It was produced using the ancient Japanese shou sugi banconta technique, which increases protection against humidity and insects.

Teen Bathroom - Renata Fraidg and Nadya Badotti. The duo sought inspiration from the French court, but brought modern pieces such as rustic wood and resin countertops. The mirrors accentuate the height of the ceiling.

Winter Garden - Leonardo Gazzalle and Karine Muller. A small space can be transformed into a place of contemplation. This is the proposal of these 14.42m², where the emphasis is on the use of discarded objects treated by hand. A good example is the raw wood on the bench, with a corten steel base and a niche for the ecological fireplace.

Bistrot & Bar - Eduardo Mourão. Every restaurant needs functionality, and it was with this concept in mind that the architect designed the 60 m² space. Industrialized wood panels cover the walls, and are enhanced by the lighting, whose structure does not interfere with the ceiling.

The national theme of CASACOR 2018 , A Casa Viva , brings the concept of home as a refuge and space for meeting and welcoming. To create the atmosphere proposed by the national exhibition team, the professionals at the Paraná exhibition chose to invest in materials that refer to warmth and comfort. Wood, which is traditionally part of the way of living in Paraná, was the protagonist in several environments.
