CASACOR São Paulo 2016. Estúdio Jabuticaba - Nildo José. The multifunctional concrete bench surrounds the space and is a key piece in the 43 m² loft. It serves as a hat rack, sideboard, shelf, fireplace log holder and dining table bench. The feeling of continuity and spaciousness comes from the use of Canadian wood on the floor without baseboards and on the walls. And the name of the space comes from the jabuticaba tree in the living room.

CASACOR Santa Catarina 2016 - Coolking - Klaxon Arquitetura. The 16 m² kitchen is inspired by chefs Alex Atala and Henrique Fogaça. A space with a masculine air, in shades of black and gray. Despite being small, the professionals made the space functional thanks to the straight-line joinery, which takes advantage of every inch, and the smooth concrete walls. Another secret is the light design, which highlights details such as the uneven ceiling.

CASACOR Rio de Janeiro 2016. Grandson's Room - Tatiana Lopes and Tatiana Mendes. With around 10 m², it is close to the size of an apartment bedroom and offers several ideas, such as narrow shelves, a built-in bed and a study table that make the most of the space. The joinery in gray lacquer and light wood was carried out by SCA. The chair is BelleVille, launched by Vitra. Each solution was designed to last, accompanying the boy from childhood to adolescence.

The space houses everything needed to care for a baby in just 10 m², a rocking crib hanging from the ceiling, a retractable support bed (optimizing space) and furniture designed by Jader Almeida and Paulo Alves. In this minimalist décor, reforestation woodwork and the Japanese philosophy Wabi Sabi, which rescues organic values, predominate. In the nursing corner, the Licci rocking chair, in golden brass, by Jader de Almeida, is supported by the wooden table by Paulo Alves. The golden grass basketwork is produced by artisans from Jalapão, in Tocantins.

CASACOR São Paulo 2016. Music Room - Michel Safatle. Period furniture from his personal collection, pop culture elements, modern structures and luxurious fabrics contrast vibrantly in the space. One of the highlights is the reproduction of the interior of a theater room, which gives it a grandiose appearance without losing sight of the intimacy. The large-scale photo, with perspective, gives amplitude to the small space.

CASACOR São Paulo 2016. Train Car - Léo Shehtman. After restoration, the 1945 train car - abandoned for almost 30 years - was transformed into a loft. An internal wooden structure unified the space of just 40 m², which received art deco decoration. The style is represented in pieces designed by the architect himself - from the sofa and armchair to the side table and other furniture.

CASACOR São Paulo 2016. Girl's Bedroom - Très Arquitetura. Fernanda Tegacini, Fernanda Morais and Nathalia Mouro chose the bookcase as the central element of the project, which is just a few square meters in size but was transformed into the dream bedroom of any teenager. The piece, made of American wood in a brown tone, adds movement by alternating between full and empty niches. Next to the bookcase, a reading corner is created with an armchair by designer Jorge Zalszupin. The bed can be used as a sofa to entertain friends. The large, light pink mirror gives the space a sense of spaciousness.

CASACOR Rio Grande do Sul 2016. Window of the Casa Copa e Louçaria - Joana Deicke and Maria Manoela Bento Pereira. The architects reused the original window and freight elevator in the 13 m² space. To this base they added retro elements, such as iron and cladding with the appearance of reclaimed wood. The matte lacquer carpentry gained classic-style detailing, in dialogue with contemporary pieces - such as the Esqueleto stools, by Pedro Paulo Franco.

CASACOR Santa Catarina 2016. Reading Room - Priscila Koch. The space occupies a small living room and essentially houses a bookcase and armchair, creating a space for concentration and relaxation. The project is based on the tones of quartz pink and serenity blue. They gain expression thanks to the neutral base, such as the burnt cement texture at the bottom of the bookcase. Curtains and rugs designed by the architect come into play, which also features pieces such as the Boloto copper table, the rough wooden log table and the Re-vive armchair.

CASACOR Santa Catarina 2016. Hostel Room - Estela Cislaghi. Inspired by globalized communication and a love of travel, the space is designed to be enjoyed by the family, to receive a guest and even to generate extra income. In addition to the bedroom, the professional included, in just 20 m², a kitchen, living room, closet and multipurpose counter. The generous sofa bed makes everything more comfortable, not to mention the lighting and air conditioning controlled by cell phone. A modern touch is provided by the Twing pendant, by industrial designer Hans Caruga. Highlights include works by artist Cassia Acosta and the exclusive panel by graphic designer Júlia Back.

CASACOR Espírito Santo 2016. Engineering Student's Bedroom - Nicole Guiote Dalvi Rangel. The functionality characteristic of engineers was essential to make the most of the 9.60 m² of the bedroom and the 4.20 m² of the balcony, which was turned into a reading room. Carpentry was key to creating spaces such as the suspended bed with a high-gloss lacquer finish, which allowed for a shoe rack to be placed below.

CASACOR Brasília 2016. Terracotta Flat - Débora Brayner. The spaces are multifunctional and integration between them is guaranteed by the open elements, giving the environment amplitude and flexibility. Rustic and urban styles come together in the furniture pieces, combined with natural materials to create neutral and cozy environments. Clay, mud, cement, wood and bricks appear in the coverings and lead the palette of raw tones that give the flat a light feel.

At the São Paulo show, Nildo José designed a 44 m² loft with bedroom, bathroom, bar and living and dining room. Inspired by New York lofts, the concrete bench is the highlight. The piece runs throughout the space, starting as a support for visitors' bags, hats and personal items. It then becomes a shopping stand, where a parked bicycle and a basket of products humanize the design. Entering the space, it passes by the bar and serves as two seats for the dining table. The bench also serves as a base for the fireplace logs and on the other side functions as a side table for the sofa. After this entire journey, the furniture finally serves its exclusive function as a bench, until it reaches the bedroom, where it takes the place of a nightstand for the bed. And to finish, the piece functions as a towel rack in the bathtub area. Estúdio Jabuticaba is also surprising in other aspects. The architect installed a jabuticaba tree on the ceiling using a Japanese technique, which gives the space its name. And, to make the project even more unforgettable, he placed the bathroom with a bathtub inside a black box lined with ebonized wood, with a concrete interior and closed with glass.
