The office Piacesi Arquitetura, led by architect Júnior Piacesi (professional from the CASACOR Minas Gerais lineup), signs the complete renovation project of this linear penthouse of 115 sqm located in the Pinheiros neighborhood, in São Paulo. The property belongs to businessman Diego Travez, a resident of Belo Horizonte, who was looking for a strategic, functional and welcoming base in the São Paulo capital.

Conceived under the premise of being a true urban refuge, the penthouse underwent a structural metamorphosis to celebrate coexistence and visual silence, eliminating the original barriers. The balconies were fully integrated into the layout, expanding the social area and the two suites, blurring the boundaries between inside and outside.

The highlight of the intervention was the removal of a bathtub in the outdoor area, opening space for a lush integrated garden that now acts as the green heart of the project. Bathed in natural light, the landscaping purifies the gaze and sets the gentle rhythm of the social area, generously expanded after the discreet relocation of the service area to the core of the apartment, freeing the 29 sqm outdoor area exclusively for leisure.

After the two-year renovation, the program now includes a TV room, kitchen integrated with the living and dining rooms, powder room, master suite, and guest suite. The furniture curation prioritized low-profile pieces and light tones, a strategic choice to ensure visual fluidity and a sense of spaciousness given the property's proportions.

National organic design sets the tone of the ambiance through the synergy between contemporary forms and Brazilian identity. The signature of Guilherme Wentz shapes the living and resting areas through the iconic Baixo sofa, the Volta dining table, and the Baixa bed. This curation dialogues perfectly with the memory and history of the country's furniture, represented by the modernist lines of the Gávea stools and Senior chairs by Jorge Zalszupin, and by the rustic-chic touch of the Astúrias armchair by Carlos Motta.

In art, the resident's personality is revealed in the mustard-toned work by Mateus Machado, which punctuates the living room as a vibrant focal point of color, and in the painting by Zanini de Zanine that welcomes the guest bedroom.

The materials palette evokes touch and sensorial warmth. A base of white acrylic paint and white sintered stone countertops gains warmth with the custom joinery in textured melamine and details of natural ivory wood veneer. On the bathroom floors, the light gray porcelain tile brings urban sobriety in just the right measure.
