Apartment in Leblon combines signature design and "minimaluxe" aesthetics

Inspired by the fluidity of Rio de Janeiro's coastline and the continuous line of the horizon where the sky and the sea meet, this apartment in Leblon (RJ) offers a living experience deeply integrated with the landscape of Rio de Janeiro.

Designed by Camilo Jr — from the CASACOR São Paulo lineup — the project embraces the social areas of living and dining under a palette of neutral tones, evoking the sophisticated atmosphere of great seaside resorts, without losing the freshness and natural lightness of the coast.

The concept of the project is based on "minimaluxo" — the fusion between the sobriety of clean lines and the richness present in the meticulous selection of art pieces, signature furniture and objects of sentimental value to the residents. In this scenario, Brazilian signature design takes on the leading role, exalting Brazilian identity through organic shapes, the nobility of woods and striking textures that celebrate national craftsmanship.

"Sophistication also lies in telling the story of the home — combining contemporary furniture with the emotional memory of the space", says Camilo.

While the living room prioritizes soft fabrics and a visually light aesthetic, the dining area acts as a welcoming counterpoint. In it, the striking presence of wood, combined with traditional furniture elements — such as Indian cane — brings depth and an enveloping atmosphere to the space.

The preservation of the property's identity is exemplarily shown in the execution: the original bookshelf of the residence was fully restored and integrated into the new composition, elegantly weaving together contemporary sophistication and respect for the space's history.
