Contest winner will paint graffiti on the façade of CASA COR Brasília

The partnership between CasaPark and CASA COR Brasília 2015 promoted the Urban Meeting : a competition to choose an artist to graffiti the façade of the exhibition. The final stage took place on August 22nd, in the external area of CasaPark and was open to the public, who were able to follow the final process of the participants graffitiing panels installed on site. The big winner was Daniel “Toys” Moraes, an illustrator and designer known for creating colorful and lively characters. In addition to the exhibition facade, Daniel also received an amount of R$2500.

The artist was chosen by a jury of architects and designers participating in the exhibition in the region. Second place went to the artist duo Ramon Patrício and May Bucar and third place went to Alain Oliveira, known as Oliver Onk. As a prize, they received a voucher from CasaPark for Livraria Cultura worth R$500.00. At the event, the party also included DJ Rodrigo Barata from the Criolina party, a food truck meeting, a slackline workshop and live painting with graffiti artists Pedro Gurulino and Thales Pomb.
