Abstract: The Art of Design is an eight-episode documentary series that will be available on Netflix on February 10. It will feature visionary and creative professionals from the world of art and design.
The objective of the series is to present the entire creative process of a project and the perspective of professionals who are focused on the future. The characters are: Paula Scher , graphic designer and the first woman to join the Pentagram studio team; Christoph Niemann , German illustrator with arts in the world's leading newspapers and magazines; Platon , a British photographer known for his photos of presidents and other celebrities; Tinker Hatfield , a Nike sneaker designer; Ralph Gilles , head of design for the giant Fiat Chrysler Automobiles; Bjarke Ingels , a Danish architect who heads the renowned firm BIG; Ilse Crawford , interior designer who won the 2016 Designer of the Year award for Maison&Objet Paris; and Es Devlin , British set designer who designed the closing ceremony of the Olympic Games in London.
