Visual artists from the SHN collective installed the artwork on the side of a building in downtown São Paulo

The project pays homage to the beginnings of street art and graffiti in Brazil: the SHN collective painted a giant paint roller on top of the lambes-lambes, to remember the first street artists who used paint and rollers in their works, at a time that the spray was not easy to find in the country. SHN is a collective that has existed since 1998, composed of artists André Ortega, Daniel Cucatti, Eduardo Saretta, Haroldo Paranhos, Kleber Botasso, Marcelo Fazzolin and Rogerio Fernandes, a pioneer in transforming public spaces in cities, using silkscreen collage, lambes , figurines , engravings and exhaustively repeated posters, installed on the streets of São Paulo. The objective is intervention through playful and humorous language.
