Rene Gonzalez took advantage of
Miami Art and Design Week to launch an innovative platform that aims to promote architecture, design and
lifestyle professionals. It is called RGA Rocket, which, like a "rocket", will not have a fixed location. , and yes itinerant, passing through different regions.
The project showcased the work of several professionals who were also in line with the philosophy of Gonzales' company: an interest in materials that respect the environment, cultural concerns and the creation of sensory experiences, forming an evolution and extension of architectural practice.
For its launch, the RGA Rocket platform presented a selection of works - mainly furniture by European designers who explore materiality, such as those by Emmanuel Babled, and pieces commissioned by the young Germanic designer Ermics, who captures the ephemeral light and color of the sea and Miami sky.
Additionally, there was also a site-specific installation by designer Mauricio Del Valle and handcrafted silverware by designer Nina Gonzalez - all within the context of a luxury home.
