CASACOR Rio de Janeiro 2016. Living - Paola Ribeiro. The 42 m² living room is the entrance door, and the architect expresses her characteristic mix between classic and contemporary. The Portuguese chest of drawers in light satin wood and pieces from the antiques dealer Arnaldo Danemberg combine with furniture by Jader Almeida and Pedro Useche. They design, respectively, the Vinte e Ville side tables and the RA40 armchairs in black. Everything from the Contemporary Archive. In the center of the living room, three PEN lamps, by Jader Almeida, at different heights.

CASACOR Santa Catarina 2016. Dining Room - Anna Maya and Anderson Schussler. The original ceiling, floor and windows were maintained, but the house's colonial architecture is enhanced by modern elements. The twisted iron chandelier with several domes is a good example, as is the bookcase designed to house Czech crystals that the architect inherited from her grandmother. Another highlight is the painting by Juliano Aguiar, inspired by the work Girl with a Pearl Earring by Dutch artist Johannes Vermeer.

CASACOR Santa Catarina 2016. Living Room - Christina Lago and Gabriel Hering. Preserved flooring and ceiling contrast with contemporary references, whether in the color palette, the bookcase that gains the lightness of glass or in pieces such as the Sky Garden pendant by designer Marcel Wanders. To preserve the original painting on the walls, panels conduct the electrical installation. The artwork is by Rodrigo de Haro from Santa Catarina.

CASACOR Paraná 2016. Photographic Art Installation - André Bertoluci. Designed for photography exhibitions, the 35 m² space was designed as a gallery, with a black ceiling and two walls. Dichroic lamps are directed at the prominent elements. In the background, the backlit mirror panel appears to float and reinforces the emphasis on the art. All the conceptual furniture is Italian, by Vitra - with emphasis on the Alcove Highback sofa -, supplied by Inove Galeria. Another design element is the metal sculpture by visual artist Marilene Ropelato, which refers to photographic film negatives.

CASACOR Minas Gerais 2016. Living with Dinner and Swimming Pool - Graziela Costa, Kívia Costa, Zuleica Lombardi and Érika Steckelberg (CSL Arquitetura). Ideal for socializing, the space provides an interference-free view and features pieces such as the Soane sofa, whose curved design provides interactivity. The textured rugs and intimate light make the environment even more welcoming.

CASACOR Mato Grosso 2016. Master Suite - Ayres Machado Filho and Patrícia Gondim. In the 62m² suite, the couple was inspired by a mature couple who loves to travel and enjoys comfort. That's why they chose this luxurious and exotic combination, with sober tones and gold details. Textures ensure coziness, with highlights including wallpaper with arabesques and the headboard wall upholstered in velvet.

CASACOR Mato Grosso 2016. Intimate Living - Thiago Alencar. The 80m² space was divided in two to create environments that encourage close coexistence. Here, the focal point is the duo of solid wood sideboards, with the base and top made of tree trunks.

CASACOR Espírito Santo 2016. Living Room - Gabriella Dall'Ort. Neutral tones warm up the composition based on the color white. The trump card in the project is the graphic appeal of the architectural elements and the simplicity of the lines, whether on the ceiling with a slatted effect or on the wooden panel in the background, framed by the lighting.

CASACOR Goiás 2016. Studio 777 – André Lenza. Studio 777, the original number of the old building that houses the exhibition, preserves its high ceilings and original layout. The space is dark throughout, with walls, roof and floor in shades of black, gray and lead. The integrated and contemporary architecture of the 59m² place is filled with art, with paintings by Marcelo Solá and photographs by Naldo Mundim, which depict the interior of Goiás and the Atlantic Forest.

CASACOR Rio de Janeiro 2016. Renault Living Room Garage - Caco Borges. The raw colors highlight the engravings by Hungarian artist Victor Vazarely, considered the father of Op-art and who, in 1972, redesigned the Renault logo. The furniture is from Florense's new AWA line. The lighting features pieces made from car headlights, designed by architect Maurício Arruda and developed with light designer Fernanda Vasconcellos.

CASACOR Espírito Santo 2016. Entrance Lounge Tickets - Alexandre Cardim. The space is organized on two levels, creating two environments that are a meeting point for visitors. The floor is the same in both: a Spanish porcelain tile that resembles burnt cement. On the walls and ceiling, the texture is Italian, complemented by black cement bricks. The style is industrial, but there is space for plants distributed on suspended mats made of corten steel. The paintings are by artists Andre Crespo and Yoshihiko Tsutsumi.

CASACOR Santa Catarina 2016. Avex Lounge Gallery - Rico Mendonça. The flight of Icarus and the Minotaur's labyrinth from Greek mythology are reminiscent of the search for freedom. This is the concept behind this 35m² space, consisting of a hallway, living room and functional bathroom. All connected by a rug that gives the sensation of walking on clouds. The large eye canvas, by Arteria Estúdio, is reminiscent of the art of designer Fornasetti. Another wall was reserved for the sculptural wing by artist Rafael Sartori.

CASACOR Santa Catarina 2016. TVA2 room - Alexandre Müller and Marcelo Wolschick. The earthy and orange tones of the solid bricks and the presence of wood grains in the basement ceiling, which are in the original construction, dictated the color palette. The reduced size, of 12.37m², led to the proposal of an intimate room for a couple to relax. The TV panel was enhanced by Paraná Nuvolato Marble, while the other walls have a more destroyed feel. The ceiling comes with an installation of irregular panels illuminated with LED strips.

CASACOR Espírito Santo 2016. Couple's Suite - Mariah Cardoso. Wood and natural stones are the main raw materials and convey the importance of what is essential, dispensing with excess and technology in favor of intimacy. The tactile appeal of the space continues in the fabrics and wallpapers, which embrace this space that welcomes the mix of contemporary design pieces and old family furniture.

CASACOR Minas Gerais 2016. Home Theater – Maria Gabriela Nogueira, Natasha Nacif and Juliana Couri. The project takes advantage of the existing structure of the house, using the beams in the lighting project and restoring the original floor. Burnt cement tones renew the space without interfering too much, serving as a backdrop for graphic works of art.

CASACOR Minas Gerais 2016. Blue Winter Suite - Natália Botelho and Paola Corteletti. Color is an essential ingredient in the project, conceived in June, at the beginning of winter. The blue sky of the season is reflected in the acrylic paint on the ceiling without lining and is joined by green in the details of the lacquered woodwork. The bed designed by the architects divides the space, which has a small reading room. The bedroom floor, made of peroba do campo wood, was maintained.

CASACOR São Paulo 2016. Image Gallery - André Carício. The culture of Pernambuco is included in this exhibition through photographs, sculptures and paintings by local artists, enhanced by the lighting project that combines indirect light with specific spotlights. Highlights include the detailed plasterwork on the ceiling and the geometric suede panels applied in detail to the walls.

CASACOR Espírito Santo 2016. Contemporary Loft - Sérgio Caus. The well-designed joinery is the starting point of the space designed for a couple of doctors. Applications of mirrors and ACM enhance the pivoting partitions in the kitchen, which gains even more refinement with the gold finishes.

CASACOR Paraná 2016. Doctor's Loft - Michele Krauspenhar. Starting from the gray color, materials such as stone, solid wood, leather panels and metallic wallpaper were added. Against this backdrop, the Murano glass and works of art stand out. In the living room, the Moeda armchair is by designer Zanine de Zanini.

CASACOR Paraná 2016. Young Couple's Suite - Flávia Bonet. Copper in the details, moss green curtains and purple vinyl on the floor bring personality to the project, which also features a four-poster bed designed by the architect.

CASACOR Ceará 2016. Sabores do Ceará Restaurant - João Jorge Melo. A bookstore with a restaurant. This is the irresistible combination of this space, which adapts a residential environment for commercial use. Of course, the jacaranda wood floor was preserved, as were some structural openings. The sunny tones on the ceiling and walls bring a regional appeal, reinforced by the works of architect and artist Stenio Burgos, inspired by the colorful embroidery of artist Nice Firmeza.

CASACOR Campinas 2016. Intimate Room - Márcio Carmona and Cíntia Teixeira. The room received lighting that creates a relaxing atmosphere, which accentuates the corten steel effect on the wall painted by Studio Zin Cruz. The armchairs were covered in leather and Kilin tapestry. The leather sofa was hand-sewn and matches the worn texture of the floor.

CASACOR Paraná 2016. Guest Room - Christian and Richard Schönhofen. The space can be used as a home office and reading room when not accommodating guests. The carpentry was used to create different environments, complemented by the lampshade and drawer unit designed by the architects.

CASACOR Pernambuco 2016. Young Woman's Lavatory - Cynthia Costa. The wooden panel covers the ceiling and walls to create a cozy setting. Here, there is a place for makeup, on the same countertop as the sink with gold metalwork. The modular units follow the sophistication, with a pearlescent high gloss finish in gold. To finish off, an exclusive rug in glass tiles.

CASACOR Santa Catarina 2016. Living Bar - Tufi Mousse. You know the chat rooms in small hotels and residences from the 1960s and 1970s? They are the key to getting into the atmosphere of this space, which starts with the slender sofa. On the sides, two cabinets with bar and china cabinet functions. The granite walls were preserved and the rest were covered with wallpaper with technology that allows them to breathe.

CASASCOR Bahia 2016. Being Intimate - Flávia Foguel, Cristiana Reis and Milena Sá. Wooden panels and mirrors covered on the walls envelop the space, along with vinyl wallpaper. At the top, shelves display the collection of photographs. The space also has a multipurpose marble countertop, which can hold small meals or serve as a support for objects. The original flooring was maintained, but the overlay of carpets brought an even more special touch.

CASACOR Minas Gerais 2016. Urban Youth Bedroom - Andréia Moura and Juliana Silva. The industrial style is everywhere, whether in the iron ladder to reach the open closet, in the wood of the blinds or in the burnt cement of the walls. The space is geared towards relaxation but is also open to receiving friends - the tatami-style widow's bed doubles as a sofa.

CASACOR Pernambuco 2016. Family Balcony - Giselly Agra, Katya Veras and Marcela Salazar. When the rooftops of Manhattan, New York, meet the style of the 19th century mansion, the result is cool. The trio opted for a raised floor along the entire length of the balcony and a lighting plan with indirect lights, for an intimate atmosphere. The tree with dry branches makes a connection between nature and architecture.

CASACOR Pernambuco 2016. Dining Room - Andréa Calábria. The light fixture is composed of nine rectangular pieces in three different shapes, arranged unevenly on the ceiling to create a sense of movement. The piece was designed by the architect's office and governs the table and chair set by Guilherme Torres and Jader Almeida, respectively.

CASACOR Pernambuco 2016. Collector's Gallery - Mário Santos and Giuseppe Antônio Baccaro. The space was prepared to present works of art in an innovative way - some paintings are supported by panels that come out of the wall, thanks to the lighting effect in the background. They minimally alter the original structure, of which the parquet floor and decorative friezes on the ceiling were maintained.

CASACOR Santa Catarina 2016. Stanza Della Donna - Francine Faraco. Inspired by Florence, the 11m² women's room combines classic details and technology. The articulated bed with its own lighting is the central point, on a uneven carpet and with a canopy suspended by cables. It leads the eye to the ceiling, covered in MDF boards with metallic paint and classic designs. On one side of the bed, the Stena Armchair, by Brazilian designer Ronald Sasson, features rounded lines and metallized feet.

CASACOR Santa Catarina 2016. Café da Casa - Caroline Porto and Isadora Maestri. The duo mixes contemporary materials with the atmosphere of the neocolonial period. Highlights of the space include the copper-colored metals and the herringbone-shaped tile flooring.

CASACOR Santa Catarina 2016. Oswaldo Cabral Poem Room - Juliana Pippi. The space used to be a library, and the project brings a bit of that atmosphere to the present day. The Art Deco style is insinuated in geometric details, but with a contemporary look. The beautiful original design of the ceiling was maintained, as was the hardwood floor. The walls were renovated with panels lined in green velvet.
