In honor of LGBTQIA+ Pride Month, Facebook colored São Paulo with a hybrid installation, on Minhocão in São Paulo, entitled #JuntosComOrgulho , signed by Estudio Guto Requena , from the CASACOR São Paulo 2021 cast , in partnership with Mutato and Studio Curva . The work is the result of the fusion between analog and digital . In a live broadcast hosted by Facebook, people were invited to share their stories and engage in the event with the hashtag #JuntosComOrgulho . (Estudio Guto Requena/CASACOR)
When the amount of hashtags reached 100% on the pride meter, the paints of the first two colors of the flag were fired, painting in a cascade effect the side facade of the building in Minhocão . During the live, which had the participation of big names in Brazilian music , such as Pabllo Vittar, Majur and Gloria Groove, there were two more moments of triggering, thus collectively forming the LGBTQIA+ flag . At night, the art gains a mapped projection onto the paint, composed of an effect of particles that behave individually but together form the flag , illuminating and animating the physical painting. (Estudio Guto Requena/CASACOR)
The work #JuntosComOrgulho creates a symbolic landmark in the city and makes the voices of this community present on a 40-meter-high gable in a highly visible location.
